About Osprey:

Osprey KiteSports was founded by kiteboard instructor and Captain Bill Malachowski. Our mission is to provide you with the most comprehensive, safe and effective instruction in the field of KiteSports. We help you travel the world kiteboarding, and supply you with the gear to get it done. We can teach you the skills for the hottest new kitesports: kitesurfing, snowkiting, kitebuggying and landboarding. Osprey KiteSports School is sponsored by Slingshot and HQ Powerkite. This means that you will learn to kiteboard on all of the latest Slingshot and HQ equipment. We provide instruction within an one hour drive from Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. so it will be convenient for our students to take lessons. Our local knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay is unmatched. Osprey KiteSports can teach you the basics or help you advance your learning curve. So, when you show up to your local riding spot you look less like a newbie and more like a kiteboarder. Get the instruction, safety, and fundamentals down with Osprey and then let those skills take you to the water, snow, land and then the air. Once you grab hold of a kite you may never want to let go.

In 2011 Osprey Kite Sports offically added a nest in Ocean City Maryland. Brent instructs at the Assateague Nest from Labor Day through Memorial Day and then in the peak summer months teaches in the back waters of Assawoman Bay. Brent has a firm foundation in board sports instruction, and adds a level headed focus and safety minded approach to his lessons. Having been a national rank snowboarder he has a driving ambition to put on a show when he rides. Pure power and fun to watch. His past experience and amiable disposition make him a natural instructor. Brent is a professional fire fighter and part time kiteboard instructor for Opsrey Kite Sports.
